TV Guide On Screen™ system
VCR Plus+ Recording
Schedules programs to be Watched or Recorded using the Schedule menu.

• You must first set up the TV Guide On Screen system before you can
schedule programs to be watched or recorded, see TV Guide On Screen
system Setup and Overview page.
• After setup: The HD DVR must be turned Off to receive TV Guide On
Screen system’s information updates. Your Cable Box (if you have one)
should be left On.
1 Press VCR Plus+.
A Record programs using PlusCode program numbers. (With a program
highlighted on the Listings, pressing INFO shows the program’s
PlusCode programming number, if provided.)
B Record using date and time.
2 Press TV GUIDE to return to TV viewing.

If the cable box is turned OFF, then the TV Guide On Screen system will not
receive data. Leave the cable box on.
On/Off Setup
Each time you turn your HD DVR on, the TV Guide On Screen system’s
program listings display appears on the screen automatically.
To remove TV Guide On Screen system LISTINGS, press EXIT or TV
GUIDE.

As the HD DVR is turned on, you can choose to show or not show the
TV Guide On Screen system’s listings
After the TV Guide On Screen system is set up, you can change the display
on/off option so that when the HD DVR is turned on, the TV Guide On
Screen system’s LISTINGS will not automatically appear. See below.
TV Guide On Screen system’s LISTING auto display: On/Off menu in
the SETUP menu.
Select:
On: When the HD DVR is turned on, TV Guide On Screen system’s
program listings display will appear on the screen.
Off: When the HD DVR is turned on, TV Guide On Screen system’s
program listings display will not appear on the screen.
