General - display the General Tab of the Preferences
screen. You can customize the OneTouch

®

DMS

environment in this Tab, including:

Locate the COM Port on your PC

Display the Meter Communications Steps

Set the Units and Display Viewing Options

Report Options - display the Report Options Tab of
the Preferences screen. You can select the default
Favorite Report and Date Range in this Tab.

Global Targets - display the Global Targets Tab of the
Preferences screen. You can set glucose target ranges
for different Diabetes Types in this Tab.

Hypoglycemic - display the Hypoglycemic Tab of the
Preferences screen. You can set the Hypoglycemic
Value in this Tab. This is the baseline at or below
which readings are designated as “hypoglycemic” in
Reports.

Archive/Retrieve - archive records from the database
to a separate file for storage. Archiving lets you
manage the size of the database so you can keep
OneTouch

®

DMS running optimally.

Archived data may be restored to the database.

Export/Import - export data from the database to a
comma separated value (CSV) file, a common Excel
file format, where it may be used with other PC
applications.

Exported data may be re-imported to the database.
