3 Complete the hardware setup, software installation,
and configuration for your printer and adapter on the
new network. For help, see Steps 1 through 9 on
pages 2 through 6.
Disconnect the Ethernet cable from the adapter
1 Unplug the adapter and printer power supply.
2 Push up on the release tab of the Ethernet connector
with a narrow pointed object (for example, an ink
pen).
3 Pull the Ethernet cable toward you until the connector
is completely removed from the adapter.
