The default setting is SAME AS ALARM.

3. If you select DIFF FROM ALARM in step 2 above,

you need to change the following parameters.

• Pre/Post-Frames

This item lets you select the number of pre and
post-frames recorded when there is sensor input
from the SENSOR IN terminal.
The maximum number of pre and post-frames is set
with the PRE/POST FRAMES parameter above.

1. Move the cursor to the PRE/POST FRAMES

parameter in the MULTI SHOT menu by press-
ing

the or button.

2. Select the number of pre and post-frames to be

recorded by pressing the

or

button.

• Post-Frame Recording Pattern

This item is available only if the CAMERA INPUT
parameter in the VIDEO INPUT menu is set to A+B
(CAMERA ID OFF).
It lets you select recording of pre and post-frames
from input A and/or B when there is sensor input
from the SENSOR IN terminal.

1. Move the cursor to the POST REC PATTERN para-

meter in the MULTI SHOT menu by pressing the
or button.

2. Select the desired recording input for post-frames

by pressing the

or

button.

AA:

Records input A for post-frames.

BB:

Records input B for post-frames.

AB:

Records input A and B for post-frames.

2. Time Lapse Recording Menu

This menu lets you set up the details for Time Lapse
Recording.

Note:

Manual Alarm Recording, Record Partition and

Auto Start are not available in MODE 2.

1. Move the cursor to the CAPTURE MODE parameter

in the REC MODE menu by pressing the

or

button.

Pre/Post Frames

This item lets you specify the number of pre-frames.
A pre-frame is a frame recorded during standby for
manual recording or prior to input of the alarm signal in
alarm recording.
A post-frame is a frame recorded after the REC button
was pressed in manual recording or after input of the
alarm signal in alarm recording.

1. Move the cursor to the PRE/POST FRAMES para-

meter in the MULTI SHOT menu by pressing the
or button.

2. Select the desired number of pre-frames by press-

ing the

or

button.

Subtracting the number of pre-frames from this total
gives you the number of recorded post-frames.

The default setting is 0.

Recording Pattern

When the CAMERA INPUT parameter in the VIDEO
INPUT menu is set to A+B (CAMERA ID OFF), this item
lets you select recording of pre and post-frames from
input A and/or B.

1. Move the cursor to the REC PATTERN parameter in

the MULTI SHOT menu by pressing the

button.

2. Select the desired recording input by pressing the

button as shown below.

Sensor Recording

This item lets you select whether to record sensor input
from the SENSOR IN terminal on the rear of the Disc
Recorder according to the same pattern as set for alarm
recording or according to a different pattern.
