Important: Other Bluetooth devices that connect with the NETBOOK PRO
may use different terminology for some features (i.e. Authentica-
tion, Pairing, Bonding, etc.). Verify that the features being config-
ured are the same on each device.
7.3.1 NETBOOK PRO Bluetooth Settings
Open the Control Panel and double-click on the Bluetooth Device Properties icon.
The Bluetooth manager will open showing the Bluetooth Controls dialogue box.
There are three menu pages: Devices, Servers and Property. The Devices menu is
for scanning and activating remote Bluetooth devices and their services (or ‘pro-
files’). See for Section 7.3.1.1 on page 97 for details. The Servers menu is used for
configuring the Bluetooth servers offered by your NETBOOK PRO (Section 7.3.1.2
on page 100). The Property menu shows information about your NETBOOK PRO
and allows you to set some options (Section 7.3.1.3 on page 101).
Note: Ensure that the intended device (another NETBOOK PRO, a Zebra
®
printer, etc.) is powered on, and that its Bluetooth radio is enabled (this is
automatic for Zebra printers and the NETBOOK PRO).
