CHAPTER 3 Moving Around in Applications
Moving around the Home screen
In the Home screen, use the navigator to select and open an application.
Right or Left Scrolls to the next or previous application category.
Select • Inserts the selection highlight with a single press.
When the selection highlight is present:
Up, Down, Right, or Left Scrolls to the next icon
in the corresponding direction.
Select Opens the selected application.
• Holding down Select opens the category list.
When the category list is open:
Up or Down Scrolls to the next or previous
category in the list.
Select Displays the selected category.
Tip
To remove the selection
highlight without making
a selection, scroll to the
first icon (in the upper-left
corner), and then press
Left on the navigator.
Tip
From most applications
you can return to the
Home screen by holding
down Select on the
navigator.
Tip
If the built-in camera is
open, you can also press
Select to take a photo.
