1 Press DSP to select the position selec-

tor.

Press DSP until POSI appears in the display.

# If the position selector has been previously set
to a listening position then the title of that pre-
viously selected listening position will be dis-
played instead of POSI.

2 Press c/d/a/b to select a listening po-

sition.

Press one of these, c/d/a/b, to select a lis-

tening position as listed in the table.

# To cancel the selected listening position,
press the same button again.

Using automatic sound

levelizer

During driving, noise in the car changes ac-

cording to the driving speed and road condi-

tions. The automatic sound levelizer (ASL)

monitors such varying noise and automati-

cally increases the volume level, if this noise

becomes greater. The sensitivity (variation of

volume level to noise level) of ASL can be set

to one of five levels.

1 Press DSP to select ASL.

Press DSP until ASL appears in the display.

2 Press a to turn ASLon.

ASL: MID appears in the display.

# To turn ASL off, press b.

3 Press c or d to select the desired ASL

level.

Each press of c or d selects ASL level in the

following order:

LOW (low)MID-L (mid-low)MID (mid)

MID-H (mid-high)HIGH (high)
