Cannot insert
SD Memory

Protective card has
been inserted in
camera
Dummy card is inserted in SD
Memory Card socket when camera
leaves factory to protect socket from
scratches and dust. Remove dummy
card from camera before inserting
SD Memory Card.
Camera will
not turn on
Battery is not
installed Check if battery is installed. If not,
install battery.
Battery is installed
incorrectly
Check orientation of battery.
