There are two ways of taking a series of pictures. One involves taking
pictures one after the other and saving each one separately (Continuous
Shooting mode), and the other involves joining a series of pictures into
a single image (Multiple Shooting mode).

Press the { button in A mode.

The Fn guide appears.

Use the four-way controller (2) to
select
j or _.

The camera is ready to take a series of
pictures.

Press the shutter release button
halfway.

The focus frame turns green if the subject is
in focus.

Taking a Series of Pictures (Continuous
Shooting Mode & Multiple Shooting Mode)

Continuous
Shooting

Pictures are taken continuously for as long as the shutter
release button is pressed. Shooting stops when you take
your finger off the shutter release button.

Multiple
Shooting

Four frames are taken at once and joined into a single
picture.
