STANDBY/ON

Switches the receiver between on and standby.

STANDBY indicator

Lights when the receiver is in standby.

Receives the signals from the remote control.

MULTI JOG/INPUT SELECTOR dial

The

MULTI JOG/INPUT SELECTOR dial

performs a number of tasks. Use it to select
options after pressing

TONE CONTROL, QUICK

SETUP or TUNER EDIT.

MASTER VOLUME

PHONES jack

Use to connect headphones. When the
headphones are connected, there is no sound
output from the speakers.

STATION (+/–) buttons (pages 44–45)

Selects station presets or characters for those
presets when using the tuner.

TUNING buttons (page 43)

Selects the frequency when using the tuner.

LISTENING MODE buttons

STANDARD (pages 30, 32,33)
Press for Standard decoding and to switch
between the various Pro Logic II options.

ADVANCED SURROUND (pages 31, 33)
Use to switch between the various
surround modes.

STEREO/DIRECT (pages 30, 33)
Switches direct playback on or off. This
bypasses the tone controls and channel
levels for the most accurate reproduction
of a source.
