Default Device Configuration

The following is a description of default configurations for a Motorola 4300-54, and 4300-58 device:

-

2.4 GHz radio is pre-configured (any other frequency is not automatically enabled, even if
purchased.) The following sections will describe how to enable the additional radio and
network mesh.

Management VLAN is set at 4095

-

VLAN Membership is set at 0-4095

Configuring a 4300 Device Mesh from 2.4 to 4.9, 5.4, or 5.8

The following procedure describes the necessary steps required to change an out-of-the-box device
from an 802.11 b/g mesh to an 802.11 a mesh with the use of the MOTOMESH Duo 2.0
MeshManager element management system application (also known as DeviceManager) prior to field
deployment.
