This multicore connector can be used to
connect either a recorder or a base unit
(LDK 4700/10).

When connected to a recorder it provides the
video outputs, control signals and the camera
microphone signal. DC power can also be
supplied to the camera via this connector.

The connector accepts a playback video signal
for display in the viewfinder. The start/stop
control signal for an external recorder is also
passed via this connector.
