Basic Connections and Settings

With the connections and settings described here, you can listen to audio data play back from your
computer while you record just your vocal or guitar performance into your sequencer.

Connections

The sound of the microphone connected to INPUT 1 will be recorded in your computer on the left
(L) channel. If you connect a source to INPUT 2, it will be recorded on the right (R) channel.

Connect your guitar/bass to INPUT 2.

Input impedance select switch

If you’ve connected a guitar/bass to INPUT 2:

Select Hi-Z ( pressed inward).

If you’ve connected a microphone to INPUT 2:

Select Lo-Z (

outward position).

Phantom power switch

If you’re using a condenser microphone, turn the phantom power switch on.

* If a device that does not use phantom power is connected, you must turn off the phantom

power switch. Failing to do so may cause malfunction.
