What if my DVR does not respond to dock or T10/T12 series
overhead unit commands?

Ensure that the DVR is properly inserted into the home docking
station or T10/T12. In addition, ensure that the DVR is not busy
(indicator light on DVR is RED when busy). Also ensure that
the DVR is not overheated, if it is allow it to cool down to room
temperature. If the problem still persists check the following
scenarios:

1. Home Dock ONLY: Make sure that the dock is powered on
and that the connection to the dock is not damaged. If the remote
commands are not properly received then ensure that the remote
is pointing directly at the infrared receiver on the dock (located in
front of the dock, it is a half-circle shaped piece of black translu-
cent plastic). Also ensure that the remote has fresh batteries.

2. T10/T12 ONLY: Check that the T10/T12 is powering the DVR
properly (the indicator light on the DVR should be on) and that
you are in the proper source. Also ensure that the remote has
fresh batteries and that the buttons you are pushing are not
damaged.

What if my DVR only shows video in black and white?

First ensure that the problem isn’t in the monitor or television
used to view the DVR content. If the DVR is overheated allow it
to cool down. Also check the following scenarios:

1. Home Dock ONLY: Ensure all cables are properly plugged in
and are designed for video signals. Also ensure that the DVR
connection to the dock is not damaged and that the DVR is
properly powered by its own power supply. Also ensure that the
media fi le played is not corrupted and is properly supported, for
a list of supported fi les please see page 15 of this manual.

2. T10/T12 ONLY: Ensure that the T10/T12 is set to the proper
viewing source and that the DVR is properly plugged into the
unit. Also ensure that the overhead unit is not damaged. Also
ensure that the media fi le played is not corrupted and is properly
supported, for a list of supported fi les please see page 15 of this
manual.

What if my T10/T12 does not recognize my DVR nor power
it on?

Check that your overhead unit is properly receiving power and
functioning. Also make sure that the DVR is plugged in properly.
Inspect the physical connection at the end of the DVR to ensure
it is clean and undamaged. Also inspect the connection of the
DVR door of the T10/T12 to see that it is not jammed or damaged.
Try source switching your unit several times to access the DVR
screen and wait a few moments to see if the unit recognizes the
DVR. Also ensure that the vehicle is properly running and sup-
plying power to the T10/T12 (will not work if the ignition of the
vehicle is OFF).

What if my computer does not recognize my DVR?

Ensure that you are using the proper USB cable that came with the
DVR, also ensure that both computer interface USB connections
are plugged in properly and that your computer meets the mini-
mum system requirements outlined in this manual. No additional
drivers are necessary to access the DVR with the USB cable but
a current, required operating system is. Check that the USB cable
connection to the DVR is not damaged or jammed.
