Take a picture

1.

Set the Power dial to REC.

2.

Use the optical viewfinder and zoom to frame
the picture you want to take. Be careful not to
block the lens or flash bulb with your fingers.

3.

Hold the camera still and level. When ready to
take the picture, press and hold the shutter
button. (The picture is stored on the flash card
and the camera is ready to take another picture.)

Important: While the camera is taking a
picture, the indicators on the back of the
camera flash to indicate information is being
stored on the card. Do not remove the
batteries, remove power from the camera, or
turn the camera off while they are on. This
may corrupt information on the card.

Note: The camera automatically turns off to
save power if you don’t use the features for
more than a few minutes. To turn it back on,
set the Power dial to OFF, then back to VIEW,
REC, or SETUP.

View your picture

Press the QUICK REVIEW button to view the last
picture you took.

Set the Power dial to VIEW. (The last picture
you took appears.)

2.

To scroll through several pictures, use the
Navigation button.

Turn off the camera

Set the Power dial to OFF.
