Press the STANDBY/ON button.
(or the STANDBY/ON button on
the remote controller)
The STANDBY indicator goes out.

Insert an MD.
The MD recorder reads TOC (Table Of
Contents) information on the MD to
display the total number of tracks and
total playing time.
• When an MD recorded with a disc
name is inserted, the disc name is
displayed. If the disc name is too long
and you cannot view the entire name,
press the SCROLL button on your
remote controller to shift the display.
Stopping play
Press the button (or the button on the
remote controller ).

The first track of the disc starts playing.
Stopping play temporarily
Press the button (or the button on the
remote controller ). The Pause indicator lights up.
To resume play, press the button (or the
button on the remote controller).
Ejecting the MD
Press the button (or the EJECT button on the
remote controller).
The MD is ejected and
“Eject” is
shown on
the display.
