Editing the contents of an MD (continued)

To erase all tracks of an MD

1 Press the button.

2 Press the EDIT/NO button and turn the MULTI

JOG knob to select “All Erase ?”
To cancel, press the EDIT/NO button or press
the button.

3 Press the MULTI JOG knob. “All Erase??” is

displayed for confirmation.

4 Press the MULTI JOG knob again.

When the erasing of all tracks on the MD is
complete, “Complete” appears in the display.

Note
While the TOC indicator is lit or flashing, do not
move or unplug the MD recorder.

Dividing a track

The following operation is possible when the
playback is in progress or paused.

Pause a track at the desired
dividing point.

Press the EDIT/NO button and
turn the MULTI JOG knob to
select “Divide ?”

Fine-adjust the dividing point.

To fine-adjust the dividing point...
Turn the MULTI JOG knob while listening to
the part that contains the dividing point.
You can adjust the point in the range of –
45 to +45 in steps described below. (The
step varies depending on the selected
recording mode.)

Adjustment step
SP: approx. 0.06 seconds
MONO and LP2: approx. 0.12 seconds
LP4: approx. 0.25 seconds

Press the MULTI JOG knob.

The point at which the track is to be
divided plays repeatedly, with “Rehearsal”
and “Position OK?” alternately shown on
the display.
