Operations

Moving a track

The following operation is possible when the unit is
stopped or paused.

1

Turn the MULTI JOG knob until
the track number you want to
move is displayed.

Press the EDIT/NO button and
turn the MULTI JOG knob to
select “Move ?”

To stop moving a track
Press the EDIT/NO button until “Move?”
disappears, or press the button.

Press the MULTI JOG knob.

The selected track number and a
destination track number appear in the
display.

To specify the destination, turn the MULTI
JOG knob to select the desired number.

• When a track is moved, the track

numbers are renumbered, based on the
track number of the moved track, so
that they are consecutive. For example,
if you move track 3 to track 1, track 1
will be renumbered as track 2; track 2
will be renumbered as track 3, and so
on.

Note
While the TOC indicator is lit or flashing, do not
move or unplug the MD recorder.

Press the MULTI JOG knob to
move the selected track.

When the moving of the track is
complete, “Complete” appears in the
display.
