Using Headphones

The Model 990’s front headphone jack allows you to listen in private without
disturbing others nearby. Thanks to the Model 990’s Dolby Headphone processing,
you can enjoy a realistic surround-sound effect even when using headphones.

To activate the headphone jack:
1.
Plug in a set of headphones.

The Model 990 has a 1/4-inch headphone jack, which accommodates
the 1/4-inch plugs found on most quality headphones. If you want to use
portable-style headphones such as those included with portable CD or
MP3 players, you will need a stereo 1/8-inch to 1/4-inch adapter, which
is readily available at RadioShack and other electronics stores.
