Troubleshooting

1. Batteries are not oriented correctly.
2. Batteries are dead.

3. Using the wrong AC adaptor.

1. Activation of Auto Power Off (page E-38).

3. You are aligning the POWER/Function Switch

with REC while the lens cap is attached.

Batteries are low.

1. The POWER/Function Switch is aligned with PLAY.
2. Flash unit is charging.
3. The message “MEMORY FULL” is on the

monitor screen.

4. No memory card loaded in the camera

1. Dirty lens
2. Subject is outside the focus frame.

3. Conditions make it impossible to obtain proper

focus.

3. Delete images you no longer need from camera

memory or change to another memory card.

4. Load a memory card.

1. Clean the lens.
2. Compose the image so the subject is inside the

focus frame.

3. Switch to the Manual Mode and focus manually

(page E-61).

4. Use a tripod.

Make sure the subject on which you want to focus is
inside the focus frame.
