VIDEO HEAD CLOGGING
The video heads record and playback picture and sound on the video tape. In the event that they become
dirty you won't be able to do a perfect recording and the playback picture will be extremely snowy with
good sound. If this happens have the TV/VCR checked by qualified service personnel.

VIDEO HEAD CLEANING
AUTO HEAD CLEANING cleans the video heads automatically when a cassette is inserted or ejected.
This prevents dirt from accumulating onto the heads which can cause snowy picture.
When this happens (snowy picture) this signifies that the heads are either worn or needs cleaning,
consult your local service centre for servicing.

NOTES:

Video heads may eventually wear out and should be replaced when they fail to produce clear pictures.
To help prevent video head cleaning, use only good quality VHS tapes. Discard worn tapes.
