• The wall outlet shall be installed near the equipment and

shall be easily accessible.

• Do not expose the digital receiver to any moisture. The

digital receiver is designed for use in dry rooms. If you
do use it outdoors, ensure that it is protected from mois-
ture, such as rain or splashing water. Use only dry cloth
when cleaning the digital receiver.

• Place the digital receiver on a hard and level surface.

• Do not place the digital receiver close to heating units

or in direct sunlight, as this will impair cooling. Do not
lay any objects such as magazines on the digital receiver.
When placed in a cabinet, make sure there is a minimum
space of 10 centimeter around it. For the physical speci-
fication of the digital receiver, refer to Table

2.2

• Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched.

• Never open the digital receiver casing under any cir-

cumstances. Warranty claims are excluded for the dam-
age resulting from improper handling.

• Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
