5. Push the filter cartridge with the
cap in a horizontal position all
the way into the opening in the
base panel.
6. Rotate the filter cartridge by
90 ° -180 ° gently in a clockwise
direction until the cap is in a
horizontal position.
i After changing the filter, reset
the filter display.
i The appliance might be used
without a "UltraClarity" water
filter. If you choose this option
replace the water filter by a
water filter substitute cartridge.

Resetting the filter
display
i If the filter display is not reset,
the next required filter change
cannot be signalled by the
display.
After each filter change:
3 sec.
q Simultaneously hold down the
SUPER and ICE buttons for
3 seconds.
Deactivating the filter
display
i The appliance might be used
without a "UltraClarity" water
filter. If you choose this option
replace the water filter by a
water filter substitute cartridge.
In this case the filter display
might be deactivated to prevent
filter change messages.

To avoid serious illness or death,
do not deactivate the filter display
while using an "UltraClarity" water
filter.
To deactivate the filter display:
3 sec.
q Simultaneously hold down the
SETUP and ICE buttons for
3 seconds.
i ReĆactivate the filter display by
pressing the SUPER and ICE
buttons for 3 seconds
simultaneously.
