3 Making a phone call

3.1 Normal dialling

• Press the Line button.

• Enter the desired telephone number.

• Press the Line button, after the conversation, to end

communication.

3.2 Block dialling

• Enter the desired telephone number.

• A wrong entry can be corrected by pressing the C-button.

• Press the Line button. The phone dials the telephone number.

The number is shown in the display and starts flashing.

• Press the Line button again, after the conversation, to end

communication.

3.3 Redial

The 5 last dialled numbers are stored in the memory and can be

redialled by pressing the Redial button.

• Press the Redial button until the desired number is shown in

the display.

• Press the Line button. The phone dials the telephone number.

The number is shown in the display and starts flashing.

• Press the Line button again, after the conversation, to end

communication.

3.4 Memory numbers

If you have programmed memory numbers (see chapter 5.1),

they can be dialled out the following way :

• Press the Memory button.

• Enter the number of the memory location or press the

Memory button repeatedly until the desired number is

displayed.

• Press the Line button. The phone dials the telephone

number. The number is shown in the display and starts

flashing.

• Press the Line button again, after the conversation, to end

communication.

3.5 Receiving a telephone call

When a call comes in and the handset is lying on the base,

you only have to pick up the handset when the function

‘Automatic Reception’ is activated. If not, you have to press

the Line button. Press the Line button again, after the

conversation, to end communication.

If the handset is not lying on the base, you have to press the

Line button to answer an incoming call. Press the Line button

again, after the conversation, to end communication.

3.6 Do-Not-Disturb function

When a call comes in and you do not want to hear the

ringing signal but you only want the call to be shown on the

d i s p l a y, then you have to activate the Do-Not-Disturb function.

Press the Set button, followed by “0” and press the Set

button again.

Incoming calls are no longer audible but the symbol

appears on the display. This function will be deactivated

when you press any key or when the handset is lying on

the base.
