Viewing teletext

Some programs are provided together with such profitable
information as weather reports, news or stock quotations by
means of teletext. Televisions are supposed to process tele-
text; however, there rarely are televisions being incapable of
that. Even if your televsion cannot process teletext, you can
enjoy it with the digital receiver.

When you view an information box, a teletext symbol (

) will

be marked on it if it is provided. Press

button to view tele-

text. You can zoom in the teletext with the

button and ad-

just the transparency of teletext with the

button. To clear

the teletext, press the

 

EXIT

button.

Viewing the program guide

The Electronic Program Guide (EPG) is an application used
with digital receivers to list current and scheduled programs
that are or will be available on each service with a short sum-
mary or commentary for each program.

Pressing the

 

GUIDE

button dis-

plays an electronic program
guide, in which you can see the
following things:

Scheduled programs

Program commentary

Broadcasting date

Broadcasting time
