Connections with analog audio equipment

Stereo amplifiers, mixers, recorders and other analog
devices can be connected to this unit’s analog line input
and output jacks.

NOTE

Cables are not included with this unit.

Do not bundle RCA cables with power cords or

speaker cables. Doing so could cause reduced audio
quality or noise.

Connections with digital audio equipment

ª

Stereo amplifiers, mixers, recorders and other digital
devices can be connected to this unit’s digital input and
output jacks.

NOTE

This unit has a sampling rate converter, so 32 and 48 kHz
signals, which differ from the standard MD sampling rate
of 44.1 kHz, can also be recorded digitally.

3 − Preparations

When connecting external equipment, please read their operation manuals beforehand and connect them correctly. Turn the
power on last.
