Additional heater (diesel)*

The additional heater may be required for
achieving the correct temperature in the pas-
senger compartment during cold weather.
The additional heater starts automatically
when extra heat is required and the engine is
running. It is switched off automatically when
the correct temperature is reached or when
the engine is switched off.
Auto mode or shutdown
The additional heater can be switched off for
short distances to avoid discharging the bat-
tery.
1. Use the thumbwheel to scroll to Addi-
tional heat auto .
2. Press RESET to switch between ON and
OFF .
NOTE
When the additional heater is active there
may be smoke from the right-hand wheel
housing which is perfectly normal.
