Replacing number plate lighting - V40
Switch off all lights and remove the ignition key. Remove the screws and take out the lamp housing.
Replace bulb. Reinstall and screw the lamp housing into place again.
NOTE: Other bulbs may be difficult for the owner to replace. Let your Volvo retailer replace these
bulbs if necessary.

Replacing fuses
If an electrical component fails to function, it is likely that a fuse has blown due to a temporary circuit
overload.
The fuse boxes are located in the passenger compartment (see page 96 ) and in the engine compartment
(see page 97 ).
