OPERATION

Creating a Group Phonebook

Use the Group Phonebook feature in Windows to specify groups
of people frequently included in broadcast fax transmissions.
Create Group Phonebook entries by selecting entries from your
Phonebook and entering a group name. Then, you can send a
broadcast fax by simply selecting the group name from the
Group Phonebook.

There are two methods of adding groups to the Group
Phonebook.

Method 1

1. Click on Phonebook in the Fax or Print dialog box.

2. Select individuals you want to group from the Phonebook

dialog box by clicking on each one.

3. Click Save as Group.

The Enter Group Name dialog box appears.

4. Type the new group name. Select OK.

Method 2

1. Click Phonebook in the Fax or Print dialog box.

2. Click Group in the Phonebook dialog box.

The Group Phonebook dialog box displays, listing any groups
previously created.

3. Click New.

4. Select individuals from the Phonebook to be in the new

group by clicking on each one.

5. Click Save.

6. Enter the new group name in the Enter Group Name dialog

box and select OK.

The Phonebook dialog box displays..

7. Click OK when finished.

Using the Group Phonebook for a broadcast fax

1. Click on the groups to receive the broadcast fax from the

Group Phonebook dialog box.

More than one group may be selected for the broadcast by
clicking each group required.

2. Click OK.

The Phonebook dialog box displays with members of your
chosen groups tagged. If there is no further need to modify
the group list, go to step 5.

3. To add other individuals to the broadcast, select them.

4. To deselect any individual entry that is tagged, select it.

5. Click OK.

The Cover Page dialog box displays (if you have chosen to
use a cover page), or the Fax or Print dialog box.

6. Click Send Fax.
