Testing 1.5V, 9V and
12V Batteries
Test Procedure (see Fig. 13):
1. Insert BLACK test lead into
COM test lead jack.
2. Insert RED test lead into
test lead jack.
3. Turn multimeter rotary switch
to 1.5V, 9V or 12V range.
4. Connect RED test lead to posi-
tive (+) terminal of battery.
5. Connect BLACK test lead to
negative (-) terminal of battery.
6. View reading on display.
