Reference plane

Gauge pressure in the vessel does not influence VEGASON 65. Low
pressure or vacuum does, however, damp the ultrasonic pulses. This
influences the measuring result, particularly if the level is very low.
With pressures under -0.2 bar (-20 kPa) you should use a different
measuring principle, e.g. radar or guided microwave.

4.2 Mounting preparations

Warning:
Mounting preparations must be carried out in idle condition. Non-
observance can cause damages on the electronics!

Version B is supplied in two parts:

Assemble the version as follows:

Loosen the screws on the fixing ring (4) with a hexagon spanner
(size 4), remove the transducer tube out of the swivelling holder
