3 Overview
Siphons according to DIN 16282 are cooling zones for protection of
the pressure transmitters against too hot process media. A difference
is made between siphons in U or circular form.
Valves are used as shut-off device when connecting pressure
transmitters to the process. A difference is made between single or
double valves. Dependent on the version, the valves have a ventilation
option or a test connection.
Valves are used as shut-off device when connecting differential
pressure transmitters to the process as well as for pressure
equalisation of the measuring chambers during setup.
There are different types of valve blocks: 3-fold valve blocks and 5-fold
valve blocks as well as valve blocks that can be flanged on both sides
and those that cannot be flanged. Ventilation valves enable ventilation
of the measuring chambers of differential pressure transmitters.
Oval flange adapters according to IEC 61518 enable the connection of
pipelines with ½ NPT to differential pressure transmitters.
Measuring instrument holders enable wall or tube mounting of
pressure transmitters and suspension pressure transmitters.
Mounting brackets enable wall or tube mounting of differential
pressure transmitters, also in conjunction with a valve block.
