4.

Repeat

Step 1 to 3 until all gauges

are installed onto the Gauge Mount.

5.

Partially remove the weatherstrip

along the a-pillar on the driver’s side.
Take off the instrument panel side
cover. Note: Do not use sharp object to
remove the weatherstrip to avoid
damaging or puncturing it.

6.

Remove the two (2) plugs located

on the sides of the a-pillar trim handle
bar. Remove the two (2) bolts behind
the plugs. Remove the entire a-pillar
trim and handle from the a-pillar.

7.

Cut and remove the handle bar on

the a-pillar trim with a hacksaw or a
handsaw. Place the Gauge Mount (with
the gauges) on the trim piece to make
sure the grab bar is removed
completely and the Gauge Mount is
sitting properly on the trim piece. If the

trim or bar interferes with the fit of the
Gauge Mount and the gauges, remove
more material from the a-pillar trim
piece. See

Figure 2.

WARNING: Do not use this Banks
DynaFact Pillar-Style Gauge Mount
as the grab bar replacement. Do
not apply force to it by grabbing or
holding it to assist entering or
exiting the vehicle. It is not
designed for this purpose and it
will not handle the load as a grab
bar would. Vehicle damage and
personal injury may result.

8.

The Gauge Mount has clearance for

the gauge lines to run down the back
and exit through the bottom. Secure
the wiring and tubing to the back of
the Gauge Mount, making sure that
the gauge lines do not interfere with
the fit of the two (2) pieces.
