2-6 Motor Starting and Duty Cycle Conditions
The following illustration shows allowable motor starting currents according to the starting time.
The OFF TIME is the minimum amount of time between the motor stop and motor start. The duty
cycle is the start time + stop time + off time. This graphic will enable the user to develop a duty cycle
within the capabilities of the motor starter ratings.
