These batteries are listed in controllers that contain configuration default software version vCS1.1.10. They are

not present in controllers with configuration default software versions of vCS1.1.6 or earlier. Configuration default
software versions vCS1.1.7 through vCS1.1.9 are internal releases and do not exist in the field. The versions of
software running on the QS841A_CS1 can be found in the front panel at
Main Menu

Note: if the battery model installed at the site is not in the list, select the generic technology type such as VALVE-
REG (Valve Regulated Lead Acid), NICD (Nickel Cadmium), LI-LMP (Lithium Metal Polymer), and enter
appropriate AH rating (See Step 10). It is also acceptable to use the generic technology type for the battery type
that corresponds to a specific battery model that is in the list.

High Battery Temperature Slope Thermal Compensation (STC) is not recommended with these batteries and

technologies. Controllers with configuration default software version vCS1.1.10 automatically disable STC for
Nickel-Cadmium, Lithium, and Flooded style batteries. However, STC must be disabled for the NCX-125, NCX-
80, and generic FLOODED batteries in controllers with configuration default software versions of vCS1.1.6 or
earlier. See steps 13 through 15 for additional details. Note: STC is automatically disabled when Generic NICD is
the selected battery type.

9) Press button to answer Yes to “LOAD SELECTED DEFAULTS?” A screen similar to that shown in step 5 with

the new configured battery type shall appear
