Chapter 4: BIOS information

NOTE
If any of the monitored items is out of range, the following error
message appears: “Hardware Monitor found an error. Enter Power
setup menu for details”. You will then be prompted to “Press F1 to
continue or DEL to enter SETUP”.

PWR Q-Fan Function [Enabled]

This item allows you to enable or disable the ASUS Q-Fan feature that
smartly adjusts the power fan speed for more efficient system operation.
Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]

PWR Temperature Threshold [60°C]

This item allows you to set the highest temperature for the power supply
so that when exceeded by the actual power temperature, Q-Fan supplies
more power to the power supply fan. When the CPU temperature goes
below the setting, Q-Fan automatically reverts to the normal power
supplied to the fan. Configuration options: [50°C] [55°C] [60°C] [65°C]
[70°C]

PWR Fan Lowest Level Voltage [3V]

This item allows you to set the lowest voltage applied to the CPU fan.
Configuration options: [3V] [4V] [5V] [6V] [7V] [8V] [9V]

Power Temperature [xxxC/xxxF]
CPU Temperature [xxxC/xxxF]

The onboard hardware monitor automatically detects and display the
power supply and CPU temperatures in these fields.

CPU Fan Speed [xxxxRPM]
Chassis Fan Speed [xxxxRPM]

The onboard hardware monitor automatically detects the CPU and chassis
fan speeds in rotations per minute (RPM).

VCORE Voltage, +3.3V Voltage, +5V Voltage, +12V Voltage

The onboard hardware monitor automatically detects the voltage output
through the onboard voltage regulators.
