Pre-Warn Chirp
Control

The SEC-8028 includes a dual stage
impact sensor which detects blows to the
body of the vehicle. If a light impact is
detected on the vehicle, the SEC-8028 will
issue a short warning chirp. If a heavy
impact is detected, the SEC-8028 will enter
an alarming state.
The SEC-8028 allows the pre-warn chirps
to be turned on and off.

Warning Mode

turns on and off both light flashes and siren
chirps.

Pre-Warn Chirp control will turn on

and off siren chirps while flashing the lights
if the system detects a light impact.

To Turn the Warning Mode
ON or OFF:

1. Make sure the system is disarmed and

not in Valet Mode.

2. Press the Valet/Disarm switch on and off

rapidly three times. (This procedure
must be completed in five seconds.)

3. The system will acknowledge the

command by chirping the siren and
flashing the lights twice (Pre-Warn Chirps
OFF), or three times (Pre-Warn Chirps
ON).

Chirps ON or OFF:
