3. Connections

AMPLIFIER INPUT

Use 16 AWG stranded copper speaker wire to connect from a speaker level output of an A/V
receiver, stereo receiver, or amplifer. Turn power for the output device OFF before making
connections.

To make connections:

Cut the ends of the wire to length, allowing some free play (about 6 inches

Using wire strippers, remove 3/8 inch of insulation, then twist the wire to

the polarity of each lead (+ to +, - to -).

Note: To avoid damage to the receiver/amplÀ er, DO NOT allow speaker leads to touch
each other.
