With your recording preference set to “ VIDEO”, press and hold the power
button for 4 seconds as illustrated below.
Press the motion detection button located on the back of the
SmartCamDVR or the TRIGGER ON button on the RC (remote control)
to enable motion detection. At this point the the indicator LED will turn
green and SmartCamDVR will beep 2 times to indicate that motion
detection has been enabled.
