Introduction

The IntelliTrack ISRP CE Client application is installed on the batch porta-
ble device. The ISRP CE Client application must be run locally from each
batch portable device that is using it. Use the CE Client application to col-
lect data remotely with a batch portable device and then upload the col-
lected data to the workstation application. (ISRP Batch uses a SQL CE
database that integrates with the central SQL server database in the work-
station application.)

IntelliTrack applications use Remote Data Access (RDA) for workstation-
batch communication. RDA encompasses many components and involves
system setup. The following sections go through the ISRP Batch installa-
tion setup process. The procedures vary according to your operating sys-
tem. Please consider your ISRP Batch setup BEFORE installing the ISRP
CE Client application on your portable/handheld devices.

Warning: If Remote Data Access is not properly setup and configured, the
workstation and device will not be able to communicate with each other.
