default recipient or a selected recipient; the package values (carrier,
location, package type, and mailroom) are automatically assigned to the
default values. You are able to update the package records at the Pack-
age Maintenance screen in the workstation application after you trans-
fer your data.
• Edit Package: access the record of each package received into the
application and edit any of the following values in the package record:
carrier, recipient, location, package type, and mailroom.
To reach the receiving options, tap Incoming Packages from the Main
screen.
A menu appears that contains the receiving options.
The Incoming Packages menu contains three options for receiving pack-
ages:
• Receive: use the receive option to receive one package at a time.
• Rapid Receive: use the rapid receive option to receive multiple pack-
ages for a selected recipient at one time.
• Edit Package: use the edit package option to edit a package record.
