Installing Package Track on the Handheld
Device
Before you can begin transferring Package Track data from your handheld
device, you must install the Package Track application on your handheld
device. Once you have setup Remote Data Access, verified that your IIS
dependencies are setup and functioning properly, and downloaded your
device installation setup file you are ready to install the batch application
on the portable device. Follow the instructions found in this section to
install the batch portable application on the handheld device.
1.
Open the device installer file (retrieved from the Hardware Support
Matrix, see
“Retrieving your Device Installer from the Hardware Support
and double-click on it to open the CE Setup Wizard.

A security warning appears; select to Run this file.

The Installation Setup Wizard appears, welcoming you to the setup
wizard. The welcome message recommends that you close all other
applications before continuing with the installation. When you are
ready to continue, click Next. (If you want to cancel the installation,
click Cancel to exit the setup wizard.)

The License Agreement window appears. Read the terms of the agree-
ment, and then click I Agree to accept them. (You must click I Agree
to continue with the installation. If you do not agree with the terms,
click Cancel to exit the setup wizard. If you want to review the Wel-
come window again, click Back to return to the Welcome window.)
