To Operate the OPTI-Lite TP-8620 Flashlight
Press the button in the end cap to turn the lamp on or off. The solid-state LED assembly
offers long-lived operation (approximately 100,000 hours). To replace the batteries,
remove the end cap and insert three batteries positive end toward the lamp head and
replace the end cap.
ENGINE OIL, POWER STEERING, ATF, FUEL, COOLANT AND HYDRAULIC LEAK
INSPECTION
1. Turn OFF the engine and pour the fluid dyes through the appropriate fill ports. Use
TP-3405 for oil-based systems; use TP-3900 for coolant.
Coolant system—Make sure the engine is cold before removing the radiator cap to
add dye.
2. Run the engine and/or operate the system for 5 to 10 minutes to circulate the dye.
Smaller leaks may require longer run time.
3. Scan the system with the lamp while wearing the glasses. Leaks will show with a bright
fluorescent glow.
4. After the leaks are repaired, clean off the dye residue with GLO-AWAY and reinspect.
HOW IT WORKS
• Add dye and let it circulate. The dye escapes with the refrigerant or fluid and
collects at all leak sites.
• Scan the system with the inspection lamp and see all leaks glow brightly!
TRACERLINE ® TIPPS
• Um beste Inspektions-Ergebnisse zu erzielen, verwenden Sie die TP-8620 in
gedämpften Lichtverhältnissen. Wenn Sie die mitgelieferte
fluoreszenzverstärkende Brille TP-9940 aufsetzen, werden Lecks klar sichtbar.
• Nachdem der Farbstoff im Flüssigkeitssystem zirkuliert ist, inspizieren Sie den
Pegelstab des Systems oder die Flüssigkeitsöffnung mit der Lampe, um das
fluoreszierende Glühen zu sehen. Fügen Sie, falls nötig, noch eine kleine Menge
Farbstoff hinzu, um ein stärkeres Leuchten zu erzeugen. Zusätzlicher Farbstoff
schadet dem System nicht.
• Nehmen Sie einen Spiegel, um hinter und unter schwer zu erreichenden Stellen
nach Lecks zu suchen. Wischen Sie die Stellen mit einem sauberen Tuch ab und
prüfen Sie mit der Lampe, ob sich leuchtender Farbstoff auf dem Tuch befindet.
• Bevor Sie das Motorhauben-Etikett anbringen, notieren Sie die Art des
verwendeten Farbstoffs und das Datum der Prüfung darauf.
BEGRENZTE GARANTIE
Tracer Products gewährleistet, dass dieses Produkt frei von Herstellungsfehlern ist.
Die Verpflichtung von Tracer Products im Sinne dieser Garantie beschränkt sich auf die Reparatur
oder den Ersatz (dies entscheidet Tracer Products) aller Teile des Produkts, die sich innerhalb von 12
Monaten nach dem Kaufdatum bei der Prüfung im Werk als fehlerhaft in Bezug auf Material oder Arbeit
herausstellen und ordnungsgemäß installiert, verwendet und gewartet wurden.
Diese Garantie erstreckt sich nicht auf Produkte oder Teile, die 1.) normalem Verbrauch während des
Betriebs unterliegen oder 2.) eine normale Lebensdauer haben, die kürzer als die genannte Garantie
ist. Die Garantie für Birnen und Filter beträgt beispielsweise 30 Tage.
Diese Garantie gilt an Stelle aller anderen Qualitätsgarantien. Es gibt keine anderen, weder
mündlichen, schriftlichen, ausdrücklichen, implizierten noch gesetzlichen Garantien. IMPLIZIERTE
GEWÄHRLEISTUNGEN DER EIGNUNG FÜR EINEN BESTIMMTEN ZWECK UND
GEWÄHRLEISTUNGEN, DASS DAS PRODUKT VON DURCHSCHNITTLICHER QUALITÄT UND
FÜR DEN NORMALEN GEBRAUCH GEEIGNET IST, SIND AUSGESCHLOSSEN. Diese Garantie und
Ihre Rechtsbehelfe nach dieser Garantie umfassen ausschließlich das hierin Genannte. Tracer
Products ist unter keinen Umständen für besondere, indirekte, beiläufig entstandene Schäden oder
Folgeschäden haftbar.
