Capacitor Removal
1. Lift capacitor out.
2. Bleed the excess voltage using a resistor with values of
approximately 5 kohms, 25 watts for 10-20 seconds.
Measure the voltage on the capacitor terminals.
WARNING! This unit may contain lethal voltages. You MUST completely discharge the high voltage capacitor before removing from unit. DO NOT SHORT
THE TERMINAL ENDS OF THE CAPACITOR.
