Dispenser-Specific Troubleshooting
GILBARCO
PROBLEM
ANALYSIS/RECOMMENDATION
LED (D5) is off and never flashes.
Console/POS not communicating with dispensers.
LED (D5) is on solid.
! Adapter cable connected incorrectly.
! Wrong type adapter communications input used — RS422 or current loop. Refer to
Diagram: RLM II Adapter Board Switch Selections.
! Defective cable.
All communications down on console/POS
to dispensers.
! Adapter cable not connected.
! Adapter cable connected incorrectly.
! Wrong type adapter communications input used — RS422/current loop.

PROBLEM
ANALYSIS/RECOMMENDATION
No data capture.
! Is EMC port on G-SITE enabled?
! Is correct software version being used on G-SITE?
! Is adapter cable plugged into correct port on G-SITE?
! Is correct type of adapter being used?

RLM II-GS not answering G-SITE.

Selections for proper jumper selections.
