Parameters

stack-unit

Specifies the stack unit ID.

slotnum

Specifies the slot number.

portnum

Specifies the port number in the slot.

Usage Guidelines

Use this command only when the link is live.

The first port in a peripheral trunk or stack trunk must be an odd-numbered port, for example, 1/3/1.

Examples

The following example changes the untrunked link between stack unit 1 (a backbone device) and stack
unit 3 (a peripheral device) to links between trunked ports. It creates a peripheral trunk between ports 1
and 2 on the backbone device (stack unit 1). It creates a stack trunk between ports 1 and 2 on the
peripheral device (stack unit 3).

Brocade(config-unit-1)# multi-peri-trunk 1/3/1 to 1/3/2 and 3/2/1 to 3/2/2

between untrunked ports. The no form of this command removes the port configuration.

Syntax

multi-stack-port stack-unit/slotnum/portnumandstack-unit/slotnum/portnum

no multi-stack-port stack-unit/slotnum/portnumandstack-unit/slotnum/portnum

Specifies the stack unit ID.

slotnum

Specifies the slot number.
