Usage Guidelines

This command can also be used to convert a port that is already configured as part of a peripheral trunk
on a backbone device to a peripheral port.

Any one backbone device supports a maximum of two single (untrunked) port connections to peripheral
devices. The no form of this command removes the port configuration.

Examples

The following example specifies that ports 1 and 2 on a backbone device connect to a peripheral device
in a substack.

Brocade(config-unit-1)# peri-port 1/3/1
