State

The state of the GSLB protocol connection between the GSLB ADX
device and the site ADX device. The state can be one of the following:

ATTEMPTING CONNECTION – The GSLB ADX device is still trying to
establish a GSLB connection with the site ADX device.

CONNECTION ESTABLISHED – The GSLB ADX device has
established a GSLB connection with the site ADX device.

SELF – The GSLB ADX device is also this site ADX device.

Current num. sessions

The number of sessions in the ADX device’s session table. A session is a
one-way connection to or from a real server.
This information is reported by the site ADX device.
NOTE: The number of sessions in the table does not necessarily match

the number of active sessions on the real servers. This can occur
if the session table contains sessions that are no longer active
but have not yet timed out.

Session util (%)

The percentage of available sessions that are in use. This is the
percentage of the total number of sessions the ADX device can maintain
that are in use. For example, if the ADX device can maintain 1 million
sessions (the default session capacity) and the session table contains
500,000 session entries, the session utilization is 50%.
This information is reported by the site ADX device.

CPU load (%)

The percentage of the ADX device’s CPU that is actively engaged in SLB
and other activities.
This information is reported by the site ADX device.

Preference

The numeric preference value for this site ADX device. The preference
can be used by the GSLB policy to select a site. Refer to

“Site ADX

device’s administrative preference”

on page 11.

This information is configured on the GSLB ADX device.

Location

The geographic location of the ADX device. The location is based on the
ADX device’s management IP address and can be one of the following:

ASIA

EUROPE

N-AM – North America

S-AM – South America

NOTE: If you explicitly identified the geographic location, the value you

specified appears instead of a value based on the IP address.
Refer to

“Configuring a site”

on page 18.
