INSTALLATION STEP BY STEP

Select the appropriate location for the ''FanAir'' system. It should be
installed between the 2 X 10 or 2 X 12 (joist) of the basement ceiling.

First, determine the position of the air evacuation
pipe. Make sure the hole location will be above
ground level on the outside. Plan to leave a space
between the pipe and the floor joist to avoid vibra-
tion. After choosing the ideal position, mark the
center opening of the pipe. Then, use a drill and a
drill bit of 1/4'' (6mm) to make a hole representing
the middle of the pipe opening, from inside to the
outside. This hole will be use has a pilot to drill the
final 6 1/4'' (160mm) hole to introduce the evacuation
pipe, to be drilled from the outside to the inside
location.
