SAFETY


TRANSPORT SAFETY

x

Ensure that the drill is attached to the tractor properly.

x

Ensure drawbar hitch pin retainer is in place and functioning
properly.

x

Ensure safety tow chain is securely attached to the tractor.

x

Ensure all lighting and implement marking devices are intact
and visible.

x

Ensure that the implement is properly marked according to
local road regulations.

x

Read all local road traffic regulations.

x

Do not exceed 32 km/h (20 mi/hr).

STORAGE SAFETY

x

Store the implement away from areas of human activity.

x

Do not allow children to play on or around the implement.

x

Store the implement on a firm, stable and level surface.

x

Set Vaderstad gear boxes back to 0 (zero).

x

Empty all compartments of product to minimize any premature wear of meter
components.

x

Release pressure off of the tank lids during storage. This will help lengthen the life of the
foam seals.

TIRE SAFETY

x

Ensure tire inflation pressure is maintained per specifications.

x

Follow proper procedures for tire repairs, especially when mounting tire to rim.

x

Seek assistance from a trained person for tire repairs or mounting, especially if special
equipment is required.
